Summer Term 1

This term our geography topic will be Rainforests with a focus on location, climate, features and deforestation.

In science we will be learning about plants to include functions of the parts of plants, life cycles and seed dispersal.

Our mathematics focus will be fractions of shape and number.

In English, we will be writing a newspaper report, using paragraphs and different sentence structures, based on a wordless book called Tuesday. If you wish to view a film of the book it can be accessed via the website called The Literacy Shed.

We will also be visiting The Potteries Museum to study fossils and make a Bronze Age pot on Monday 29th April.
