Winner 3:

Dear God

Thank you for our Harvest

For making our crops large and healthy

For making them good for people and animals

Thank you for letting us have enough to share with people who do not have as much as us

And thank you for letting the weather be kind so that we can get our crops easier

Amen

Rev. Steve Harvest Service

Reverend Steve is back! This time his message is all about Harvest!

Reverend Steve Parker

A message for our Year 6 Leavers from Reverend Steve

Lent & Lockdown with Reverend Steve Parker 6.4.2020

At St. John's we love when Reverend Steve visits the school to share the teachings of The Bible and the word of God with the children. So it's great that Steve was able to share his thoughts on Lent and the lockdown with pupils, through the power of technology, by recording a video message for the school from his caravan.

Thank you Rev. Steve

 Chaplaincy

We are very fortunate to have Reverend Steve Parker, a member of the local ministerial team at St. John's Church, as our School Chaplain.

Reverend Steve visits school regularly to lead Collective Worship and Godly Play sessions for our children.

Parents and  pupils are able to meet privately with Reverend Steve Parker after school on Mondays until 4pm. Please contact school if you would like to arrange a meeting.

Church Visits

Our school visits St. John's Church for Harvest, Christmas, Mothering Sunday Celebrations and Easter when the children lead the services. School representatives attend the Remembrance Service in November and lay a wreath on behalf of the school. Pupils also visit St John's Church as part of the R.E. curriculum throughout the year.

Church Groups

Rock Solid, St. John's Church Youth Group, meets fortnightly at St John's School from 6-7:30pm. More information is available from the school office.
