What a great time Year 6 had at the Maritime Museum in Liverpool today. Even after a very long journey with some very heavy traffic, Year 6 were all excited and enthusiastic. We had an excellent session with the character of "Emily", who told us what it was like to be on the Titanic and the events of the 14th/15th April 1912. Year 6 were able to show just how much they know about Titanic and really impressed our guide Emma.
We had our lunch in The Cooperage followed by a short, brisk and very wind-swept walk beside the Mersey before enjoying the Titanic exhibition itself in the museum.
Well done Year 6. You did us proud.
MANY thanks to Mrs Ball and Mrs Swift-Holdcroft for acting as chaperones.
