Christingle - we thought about the symbolism of Christingles, made our own and watched the Digital Christingle Service produced by Lichfield Cathedral.
What a surprise we had today, when two Reindeer appeared at our school!!......We also met Mrs Claus and her elf helper,,,,,strange, but we thought we'd seen them somewhere before!!
We are beginning to look at the work of LS Lowry, First, we identified 2D and 3D shapes, horizontal, parallel and vertical lines and also angles, in the buildings. Then we started to try to copy these into our sketch books. Keep checking in for updates to this ongoing work!
Mosaic Art- We discovered that the Romans loved to make pictures and patterns from small pieces of tile, so we thought we would try to make our own from coloured card!
