What your ZPD means.
When choosing a book in your ZPD (Zone of Proximal Difference) don’t forget to select an appropriate interest level.
This does not mean you can’t choose and read books in the other interest levels, you might not enjoy the story or understanding some of the themes.
Don’t forget to use the Accelerated Reader book finder feature, Advance Search, this will help you find books specific to YOU.
- LY (Lower Years, ages 5 to 8)
- MY (Middle Years, ages 9 to 13)
- MY+ (Middle Years Plus, ages 12 and above)
- UY (Upper Years, ages 14 and above)
